Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Grain iOS application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. License

Grain is licensed, not sold, to you for use strictly in accordance with these Terms. We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

3. One-Time Purchase

Grain is offered as a premium, one-time purchase application.

There are no recurring subscription fees to access the core features of the App.
Future major updates or entirely new feature sets may be offered as optional in-app purchases, but the core functionality you purchase today will remain yours.

4. User Data and Backup

Grain stores all of your data locally on your device.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring your data is backed up (e.g., via iCloud Backup or iTunes). We are not responsible for any loss of data, photos, or logs resulting from device failure, app deletion, or user error.
Privacy: Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how your data remains private and on-device.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of Grain be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the App, even if the developer has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including but not limited to its design, typography, UI/UX, and underlying code, are owned by the developer of Grain. You may not modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based upon the App.

7. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the App or any service to which it connects, with or without notice and without liability to you.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
